Kolab is a free and open source groupware server and client solution with excellent capabilities for managing emails, contacts, calendars, etc. It is a near drop-in replacement for Microsoft Exchange Server or Gmail. The source code of Kolab is available under the GPL version 2 software licence. The webmail component is Roundcube.
