History: Elasticsearch

Preview of version: 24

Thus, the WikiSuite project moved to Manticore Search (starting in Tiki25). Elasticsearch still works well with Tiki, but the WikiSuite-Elasticsearch package is deprecated.

Started in 2010, Elasticsearch is a free and Open Source search server based on the Lucene software library (Started in 1999). It provides a distributed, multitenant-capable full-text search engine with a RESTful web interface and schema-free JSON documents. It integrates natively with Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware and a related project named Kibana permits visualizations. The source code of Elasticsearch is was available under the Apache version 2.0 software license and is no longer Open Source. The WikiSuite community will convene to discuss options.
